LFM Girl: Amber Bernstein

Amber Bernstein is a model and actress whose first major break was the cover of Maxim Magazine Egypt, followed by a second cover of Maxim Africa. She’s since had a cover of Image and Style, as well as features in FHM and GQ. She has the cover of an upcoming issue of L’Officiel Baltic Edition in the works. Not content just working in front of the camera, Amber is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business.

Amber comes from a family steeped in the entertainment business. Her father was the famed producer Jay Bernstein, who discovered some of the Hollywood’s biggest icons—Pamela Anderson, Farrah Fawcett, Drew Barrymore, and Heather Locklear. Amber’s mother is a famed model and entrepreneur in her own right. It’s not at all surprising that Amber has beauty and brains running through her veins. Amber was in the Showtime movie ‘Beverly Hills Christmas.’

In her free time, she volunteers for cancer organization The Maria Gruber Foundation, works with various animal charities, enjoys going on hikes with her dogs, and hanging out at the beach.

LFM Girl: Amber Bernstein

Hi, Amber. How’s your day going so far?

Fantastic! The weather just started to cool down in LA, which means I can start to wear my winter clothes!

Q: Given we’re a men’s magazine, we’d be remiss if we didn’t ask you what your idea of the perfect man is. What do you look for in a guy?

I look for someone who’s kind hearted, knows what direction they want to go in life, honest, and chivalrous.

Q: Let’s get to know you a bit. Where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in Los Angeles.

Q: You’re no stranger to Hollywood, but what jumpstarted your modeling career?

My love for modeling started at a very young age. Growing up, I would watch my mom wear beautiful couture fashions and often join her on photo shoots. Needless to say, it was because of her that I was introduced into the world of fashion and modeling and it became a great passion of mine that I like to share with the world.

Q: What was your first big splurge after your first paycheck?

I bought myself a little black dress 😉 Well, a Loren Classic Black Dress…it’s appeal is in how form fitting it is…

Q: You’ve got quite the fan base on social media. What would you say is the most rewarding part of your job?

The confidence you have knowing that if you can take this on, you can take anything on. I also find it rewarding to encourage girls my age to go after their dreams and inspire them to not give up on their ambitions!

Q: What are you most passionate about, outside of modeling?

It’s still related to modeling, I’d have to say my passion for fashion. It is why I started an online boutique soon as I turned 18. I also do volunteer work at the cancer foundation my mom started in honor of my grandmonther who passed way from terminal cancer. If your readers want to learn more about it, look up the Maria Gruber Foundation. I’m also big on volunteering with animal charities!

Q: You’re pretty perfect just the way you are, but if there’s one thing you could change about yourself, what would it be?

Maybe my unabashed love of junk food!

Q: How do you unwind after a hectic day of shooting?

I like to relax by laying out by the pool or going out and socialize with my friends. I also like to workout and work out any frustrations from the shoot at the gym.

Q: Describe your most memorable date.

The most memorable date was a dinner on the beach surrounded by candles watching the sun set off in the distance.

Q: The holidays are finally here. What are you looking forward to most during this time of year?

I’m looking forward to spending time with my family and friends. I also can’t wait for Beverly Hills Christmas 2 to debut in December because I have a role in the movie!

Q: You’ve traveled quite extensively. Where would you want to travel to more than anywhere else?

Maldives!!

Q: Do you have any particularly exciting projects lined up for 2018?

There are a few things in the works, though I’m spending much of my time focused on getting my college degree in business management.
