You've undoubtedly come across the saying multiple times in your life, spanning various domains from the corporate world and athletic arenas to personal relationships and financial endeavours: "Fake it till you make it." It encourages the portrayal of success before it's achieved, under the guise that this will somehow lead to actual success. It suggests that living beyond your means will lead to wealth and that pretending to have already achieved your goals will make them a reality. However, this ideology is fundamentally flawed. It's a seductive falsehood, a narrative woven with threads of hope yet devoid of substance. While it's a narrative many of us yearn to embrace, at its core, it remains a deceptive illusion.
