“Smart skateboard” – not something we’ve yet heard of here at Lifestyle for Men, yet what you’re in store for with the Chargeboard Skateboard. In today’s day and age of modern technology, it really was only a matter of time before this idea took shape. Taking some serious steps in making this a forgone reality is this cool prototype design from Willem de Kooning.
Sporting a stylish, yet minimalist unfinished wood semblance, the Chargeboard is a fully functional longboard equipped with its own docking station on its underbelly. The dock powers up its own electricity through two dynamos (6V each) in the rear axles, which than transfers and stores to the powerbox. Users can enjoy a full charge for their smartphones in just one hour of riding. While still in early design stages, we’re sure hoping this makes it to production in the near future.
