With obvious emotional ties to the Buell 1125, the team over at Ronin Motor Works decidedly took matters into their own hands when Harley Davidson halted production on this savvy sport bike. What came to fruition, was a rugged two-wheeled machine called The 47 Ronin Motorcycle, adequately named after the Japanese samurai folktale – The 47 Ronin.
Based on the elder 1125, the warrior inspired conversion does house a plethora of fine upgrades. Doing away with the original Showa forks, a cast aluminum alloy linkage version was called upon as a worthy replacement. Other noteworthy changes include a new exhaust system, new controls, new gauges, new seat, new LED tail lights, and a new RFID-enabled key for start ignition.
Completely sinister and menacing in demeanor, this bike would have no doubt served the brave 47 Ronin proud.
