Set for upcoming auction, this classic 1971 Ford Mustang Fastback is a much-needed blast from the past. Owned by MLB star Evan Longoria, the car is expected to fetch a handsome sum, due in no small part to the details found throughout. Over 2,600 hours went into the rebuilding of the car, with everything from a Corvette 6-speed transmission, to a new rear end for optimal nostalgia, was included to give it a life of its very own. Named ‘The Machtang,’ its Eleanor Silver paint job totally does it justice, as do all the other features that embody what a classic Fastback should be.
