It’s tough to read about anything in the modern fitness world without the mention of hybrid training. The trends of fitness are ever-changing and training protocols shift due to new research findings, the evolution of the ideal physique, and what’s just plain interesting or fun to do. Hybrid training fits this description quite well. But, what is it and what’s the big deal?
Google defines hybrid as, “a thing made by combining two different elements; a mixture.” Hybrid training does just this — combines two or more training modes to form a very unique and effective program that is specifically designed to target your goals. Some traditional training methods may get a bit too exclusive and limit the types of training that earn the hybrid title, but the reality is that any style is a contender.
