In the past years, the Samsung Note has managed to blow customers away with its awesome features and generous size, which makes web-browsing and playing games much more of a breeze. With that being said, people have extremely high hopes for the upcoming release of the brand new Samsung Note 4. Pre-orders started on September 19th and it will officially be released to the public on October 17 so users can began evaluating all of the revolutionary features and specs that it has to offer.
It has been announced that the Samsung Note 4 will have tons of great new features. This includes an advanced 16 MP camera that allows users to shoot brighter and clearer images, improved touch, and smart select, which makes it easy to select the contents that you want from any apps, screens and text.
All of the new features are great, that’s for sure, but there is one thing that left people feeling just a little disappointed – The screen size. Let’s face it, 6 inches just isn’t enough. It used to be that the iPhone couldn’t compare to the size of the Samsung Note, but that is no longer the case. The iPhone 6 Plus, which was released at the end of September, boasts a 5.5 inch screen a well as full HD resolution. This only slightly trails behind the size of the Samsung Note 4, making it less unique than it once was.
The disappointment also springs from the fact that the Samsung Note 3 measures just less than 6 inches, at 5.7 inches. The Samsung Note 4 lacks the improvement that people were expecting to see. Considering that it is a newer version and that there was a lot of hype behind the product, potential customers assumed that they were going to come back around with new device and a bigger screen to appease the desires of customers.
Why isn’t 6 inches enough? The answer to this question is that it does not allow the Samsung Note 4 to live up to its full expectations. This device is the first ever to feature a Super AMOLED display as well as “quad HD” resolution, which means that it showcases 2,500×1, 400 pixels, an impressive four times as many when compared to regular HD. With such high quality, 6 inches simply does not reveal how truly stunning that the graphics can be. This device also features a bent structure, which would also benefit from having a larger screen. You’d think that Samsung would of made the effort to back it up with a larger screen, but it is safe to say that they fell short.
The six-inch screen of the Samsung Note 4 is a great update. Selecting large portions of text, editing pictures and even checking up on Instagram and Facebook would all be much easier with a bigger screen. With the release date approaching, buyers will soon get to test drive the screen for themselves.
