Set to take on the mighty, mighty iPhone 6 and 6 plus is the soon to be released Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. A tall order indeed, however, if there is any device that stands a chance, it’s likely this one. One of the biggest knocks that hindered Samsung’s flagship phone from that “next level” status was it’s plastic, flimsy exterior. With the brand new model set to drop, this is no longer the case.
The S6 Edge’s body is crafted from aircraft grade metal with a wondrous 577 ppi 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display that seemingly wraps around both sides. Other noteworthy features include a 16MP rear camera, HDR & 4K video, 64-bit Octa-core processor, and built-in wireless charging. While the battery itself won’t be replaceable, a quick 10 minute charge can produce up to four hours of power.
