The algorithms are what help the system extract the audio streams (voices, instruments and spatial information) from the music source. The real brain of it all though is the Aesthetic Engine – it is responsible for what is referred to as psychoacoustic intelligence. What this does is identify those audio streams and send them to the appropriate speaker locations depending on the listening environment.
