In the past year, we’ve witnessed a barrage of flying drone-type cameras – this is true, we’ve featured a handful of them, however, none quite like the Nixie Wearable Flying Camera. Not just a clever name play, this mini gizmo indeed can be worn as the tiny camera incorporates fashionably onto a dapper wristband. I mean what other wearable accessory do you know has the capabilities to unleash an airborne quadcopter device that can take self portraits, still photos and videos? Somehow mystically finding it’s way back to your wrist, we can think of none.
Although still in early development stages, it has done quite well earning a finals spot in Intel’s “Make it Wearable” contest.
