Microsoft HoloLens

In a revolutionary attempt to change the way we work, collaborate and share ideas, explore distant lands, and enhance our gaming experience, Microsoft unveil the genius HoloLens. In what was likely viewed as science fiction only a short time ago, we will soon be able to get our Tony Stark on as we manipulate the space around us using sight, hand gestures and voice commands.

Powered by Windows 10, the holographic goggles feature integrated sensors and processors transporting users to a virtual world of high-definition holographs. These sensors are managed by the onboard GPU, CPU, and the first of its kind – holographic processing unit (HPU). The translucent lenses seemingly project overlaid images on your immediate environment with options to control volume and image contrast via buttons placed on the headset.

Although still in its concept stage, the world no doubt awaits in bated breath for the release of this innovative offering.
