In a nostalgic look back to how things were, kicking it old-school so to speak, Google along with Mattel ressurect an absolute blast from the past with the Google x Mattel View-Master. Before all of the fancy HD touchscreens, kids of that forgone era enjoyed gems like the original plastic version.
Getting a hi-tech facelift, the new model will use Google’s virtual reality cardboard platform that will work hand-in-hand with modern day smartphones. Through the use of an app, users will slide their phone into the device and immediately be whisked away to a 3D wonderland.
