For all of you Apple faithful out there, and there are legions of you, we’re sure – it looks as if your wish has finally been granted. Thanks largely to a small group of ex-Apple engineers, Duet, as it is aptly named, allows users to use their iPad as an extra display for their Mac. How does the saying go? The more the merrier? Well, in this case anyway, the saying holds true.
Touted as the first app with this unique capability, the separate devices conjoin and worked simultaneously via the Lightning or 30-pin cable. The set up offers a retina display at 60 frames per second with absolutely no lag – so work and play can carry on without a hitch. How cool is this?
