Growing up a Casio kid myself, like many of you I’m sure, I too rocked out tunes on my trusty Casio keyboard. With a giddy smile, we’re happy to announce that the Japanese tech giant is at it again, this time aimed at the DJ’s, amateur and professional alike. Aimed for a release later in the month, make way for the Casio Trackformer DJ Controller Series.
Available in two cool iterations, the XW-DJ1 – ideal for fading and mixing, will come equipped with filter controls, cross fader, and a scratchable turntable, not to mention compatible with DJ apps such as djay2. The XW-PD1 – targeting the beat makers, will feature a 16-button sampler, synthesizer, sequencer and effector. The young and the young at heart will no doubt have fun with these bad boys, creating a legion of new musical prodigies.
