BMW have recently been unveiling some incredible concept cars, from the eco-friendly BMW i 360° Electric to the futuristic Tron-looking BMW Vision ConnectedDrive concept. Now we are presenting the BMW 328 Hommage Concept, which is a stylish blend of the vintage and the modern. Taking the original BMW 328 and reviving it back to life the Hommage features the original model’s double kidney grille, the leather straps on either side and the lack of doors, but with a very modern update. The lightweight body is made from carbon fibre reinforced plastic, which results in an unbelievable low weight of just 780 kilograms. The same material is used in the interior. The German car makers have also included high-gloss aluminium safety buckles, LED headlights and a ‘special’ windscreen. The Hommage also boasts a 3.0 litre 6-cylinder engine thereby sealing the meeting between the past and the future.
