Casio G-Shock MR-G Hammer Tone

Beloved watch brand G-SHOCK is back at it again with a cool new timepiece, but the Casio G-Shock MR-G Hammer Tone sings a much different tune than its inexpensive predecessors. Created to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the brand’s MR-G series, the solar-powered ‘Hammer Tone’ is water resistant, shock-resistant, and boasts features like a GPS world clock. Its most fascinating feature comes in the use of a tsuiki hammered effect on the bezel, which is traditionally used in Japanese swords. Designed in a collaboration alongside master metalworker Bihou Asano, the watch’s bezel is made from oborogin silver and copper alloy. This striking timepiece is limited to just 300 pieces worldwide, the Casio G-Shock MR-G Hammer Tone will be available beginning this July.
