Beau Homme SS 19

Constructivism, an art and architectural movement that spread throughout Russia in the early 1920s, rose to fame due to the principles under which it was founded. It largely sought to reject the notion of art without purpose, and instead recognized it as a means toward social change. At its root, constructivism sought to challenge the traditional high class of society. This notion paves the way for the origins of the Beau Homme SS 19 collection.

Established in 2012 by Justin Mansfield and George Bunker, Beau Homme has risen to become one of London’s most vibrant menswear labels. A favorite amongst local musicians, the brand combines “utilitarian military influence” with “eccentric individualism” to create collections filled with pieces for the youthful man who is rebellious in his approach to fashion, and not one to be confined by labels. The new collection injects fashion into the Constructivist Art Movement, therefore forging an eclectic mix of pieces that challenge the status quo.
