While no means new to the marketplace, backpacks with integrated chargers have steadily been introduced over the last little while – some good, some better. We can however state with some confidence, the AMPL Smartbag is in a league all its own. Built from the inside out, the handy carry-all boasts a few cool extras like; application control, charging management, and let’s not forget its dapper exterior.
Powered from an 18.5 Whr Li-Pol battery, the AMPL features 7 pockets each containing its own USB port – capable of charging laptops, tablets, and smartphones. The front facing moulded case houses the internal sensors, electronics and OLED display that provides data on charging states and temperatures. In terms of utilitarian functions, the backpack is coated with nylon polymer used to keep water at bay and away from its electronics.
